Mt Gold Retreat

Mt Gold is a well designed house with stunning views in a quiet street. The 3 bedrooms are spread over 3 ‘wings’ so there is space and noise is minimal allowing for a multi-generational holiday. The central living room is really spacious and has plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked and equipped. It’s fabulous to have a house that accommodates for both the morning and afternoon sun, with the back side of the house being sheltered from the wind. The spa pool was popular. It’s also great to have a 2 car garage. It is however getting a bit on the tired side and the tennis court has gone lumpy. Overall, Mt Gold is a great place and for the price-point you get a lot of house for your money.

The property was perfect for a family of 7 adults. Magnificent position and had everything that you could need. Well maintained. Highly recommend for a large group.

The house is just incredible and perfectly equipped. Our group immediately felt at home. The Wanaka Release team was very attentive. I highly recommend it.

The home was perfectly placed and convenient. The master bedroom bed was uncomfortable, and pillows were not soft. There is insufficient room in the master bathroom for toiletries. Water bottles should be made available in the refrigerator for guests.

We loved it! Such a beautiful outlook. We would definitely come again. The stocked pantry was greatly appreciated and the spa was a treat.
