Lake Edge

10/10 Beautiful accommodation in Wanaka for our 4 night stay. Modern, clean, spacious, great views over the lake, hills & mountains. Centrally located with a short stroll to cafes & shopping. It was perfect for our family of 4, 3 adults and one child. Thank you Release NZ for your customer service and great communication from the time of booking 12 months ago. I'll be back! Susan ❤️

wonderful place

Lake Edge is an excellent place to stay in Wanaka. Me and my wife stayed there for 5 nights for the second time in Feb 2026 and really enjoyed it (again). The positives including 1) high quality house/apt with lots of space, well equipped kitchen etc, 2) very nice views, 3) great location with walking distance to central Wanaka, 4) very good and professional service and support from the release team. As is often the case, there were a few small things that could have been better but minor in the grand scheme of things. Highly recommended

We had a great 3-night stay at Lake Edge. Very nice, spacious and high quality house with beautiful views over the lake and mountains and 5 minutes walking distance to central Wanaka. The staff was very professional during the booking and our stay; with clear and friendly communication The only small suggestions to improve on: 1) would have been nice with some sort of cushions for sitting on the bench on the terrace, 2) the bed pillows could have been softer

It was our first time to Wanaka and we had a great time. We loved our apartment, which became our home for a week, and we will definitely be back.
