Lake Edge

We had a delightful stay at Lake Edge and will certainly be back. The apartment is very spacious and well appointed - like home away from home. We very much appreciated there were extra items in the pantry which was great for those nights where we cooked. We added a few items too for following guests to enjoy. The location is excellent too enabling us to walk to town for coffee and dinner and for the many walks around the lake. The staff at Release were great to deal with. We highly recommend this property to stay in for home away from home, stunning views, comfort, location and so much more.

10/10 Beautiful accommodation in Wanaka for our 4 night stay. Modern, clean, spacious, great views over the lake, hills & mountains. Centrally located with a short stroll to cafes & shopping. It was perfect for our family of 4, 3 adults and one child. Thank you Release NZ for your customer service and great communication from the time of booking 12 months ago. I'll be back! Susan ❤️

wonderful place

Lake Edge is an excellent place to stay in Wanaka. Me and my wife stayed there for 5 nights for the second time in Feb 2026 and really enjoyed it (again). The positives including 1) high quality house/apt with lots of space, well equipped kitchen etc, 2) very nice views, 3) great location with walking distance to central Wanaka, 4) very good and professional service and support from the release team. As is often the case, there were a few small things that could have been better but minor in the grand scheme of things. Highly recommended
