Staying at the Boulders Retreat is like a dream come true. Cool and cosy solitude in a setting that feels like visiting the Ends of the Earth. So many spaces in the house to explore and share with family and oneself. So close to Cromwell when seeking the perks of civilisation. This home is clearly a labour of love for the owners and we are privileged that this inspired home is shared with others. Please look after it like it’s your own as I want to return again one day.

The house itself is private and stunning with personality via the colours and fittings. What stands out is the thought put into all of the extras you don’t find in holiday accommodation anymore. Every aspect of your stay is thought of from kitchen and fridge items, through to the bathroom and salts for the luxurious outdoor bath. The property was also immaculately clean throughout which is also rare these days! Would recommend this property in every aspect.

Far exceeded expectations; stunning property and home . Every guest comfort thought of . Architecturally it is a very clever home ,every space thought out for maximum comfort with breathtaking views . The location is central to many towns walks and bike rides . Great three days .

Absolutely Stunning Stay The Perfect Getaway! Beautiful property, beautiful location, and amazing amenities. We stopped beforehand to grab the essentials like bread, milk, and eggs, only to arrive and find the pantry and fridge already stocked with goodies, such a thoughtful touch and so appreciated. It’s those little things that take a stay to a whole new level. There were different kinds of tea, bath bombs, bath salts, robes, slippers, everything you need to truly unwind. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and honestly, we couldn’t fault the property at all. Yes, it’s a bit of a drive from Queenstown and Wānaka, but absolutely worth it. The perfect place to relax and reset with the most beautiful views. I celebrated my 30th birthday here and have zero regrets. Truly an unforgettable stay!
